Netbook Description

My netbook  is special to me because it was given to me in the beginning of the year and I love it.

My Triple E pc is black and shiny on the outside and  it has a keyboard on it.  My learning tool doesn’t make a sound when I turn the volume down, sometimes my netbook makes cool sounds when the sound is turned on. My netbook  feels smooth, slippery and hard.

My netbook  is put in the computer on wheels to charge in the night and sometimes I take it home.

My little laptop helps me with my homework  and also it is a learning tool not a toy. It help us to go on the internet so we can do our homework online.

My shiny netbook is a learning tool, we use our hands to type and there is a keyboard on it. We have to be responsible and be careful. Also it helps me finish my homework.

We are the first people in New Zealand to use netbooks for our learning in this way. It is special to me because my parents paid for it. I am very lucky because some of people don’t have netbooks at their school.

My netbook is a learning tool because it helps me do my homework and I have to take care of it also I have to be responsible.

Maths Reflection Week 2

Learning Intention: I learnt how to order fractions.

A fraction is a bit of something. There are halves (1/2), quarters (1/4), thirds (1/3), and lots more. We had to learn about the Denominator = how many pieces I have, Numerator = how many I give away. Also we had an activity on IXL website that ask us to order the fractions from the biggest fraction to the smallest fraction.

I am still unsure about all the fractions about biggest to smallest. But I know how to put a fraction in the right order.

Maths Reflection Week1 - T3

I am learning to understanding rounding numbers to the nearest 100 and 10.
We had to look at the number that was nearest to 10 or 100 then click submit. When we press submit then it will say if you got it right or wrong. Example 22 is nearest to 20 because it is less than 5.
