One day Tom ask his mum if he could play outside and his mum said “yes, but don’t go near the dragon in his cave”. Tom’s mum also said to never go near the dragon cave because he will tell you to go inside. Tom said “yes, I won’t go near the cave”, but Tom didn’t listen to his mum and Tom just went to the dragon’s cave.
Tom played with the dragon and the fire from the dragon’s mouth came out. Tom just stood there and they made bread. The dragon blew fire again so the bread could get cooked, so they could eat it. Tom’s mum told the bad things to him about the dragon. When Tom meet the dragon he thought he was kind to him. Tom’s mum thought that the dragon was bad, but the dragon wasn’t bad.
Tom and the dragon became friends forever.

Reflection - Term 2
My favorite thing this term is basketball because I want to learn new skills so I can be a better player.
The hardest subject this term is maths whizz because some of the questions are hard to understand but I keep trying so I can go up levels.
I enjoyed the Mother’s day mass because I liked the part when Salome read her card about her mum, it was beautiful and interesting.

Holy Spirit week 1
These are the images of the Holy Spirit - water, fire and wind. The fire is the burning bush because it shows that the Holy Spirit was there. The wind was when it rushed through the room at Pentecost. The water is when Moses held the stick up so the Israelites could go through the red sea.

Basketball
The sun was peeking out, after morning tea we had to line up so we could go to basketball.
First we went to the tennis court. When we got there coach Bruce told us to sit down so we could get started. Coach Bruce had to put us in groups like in numbers. I was in Catherine’s team, number 3. When coach Bruce put us in groups he told us the instructions. Next he said you have to dribble the ball, we had to challenge each other. He said to us “what name will you have for your team?” My team were called Power Rangers. All the teams were called Lakers, Bulls, Giants, Breakers and Power Rangers.
When we finished we had to go to class. I was pleased because next week we are going to have basketball again. I said to myself “Hooray”.

The koru on the left and right is a Maori God. The line between the middle means they are joined for life.
School Embler Description
The cross reminds us that Jesus died on the cross for us because he loved us.
The waves remind us that water is a symbol of healing in our baptism.
The top of the circle reminds us that Jesus will light our way.
The bottom of the circle reminds us of God's creation.
