I have had many highlights here at this school, some bad, most good! I have had the opportunity of being apart of many things this year. Which I will forever remember.
I will cherish everything my teachers and friends have taught throughout my journey here at Saint Pius X.
Thank you.
I am a Year 7 student at St Pius X in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 7 and my teacher is Mrs Tui.

Holiday Recount
I had a awesome holiday.
To start off my day, I had to clean up the house and wash the dishes which I found boring. After cleaning up, I decided to take my Dog Stella for a walk around the block. Once I got back with her, we played in the back yard. Afterwards I left Stella to have a rest. So I decided to go into my cousin’s room and play games with them. I kept on looking out of the window to see if she was asleep and she wasn't. I could see her eyes open but lying down. Then all of a sudden I could hear Stella barking, I jumped up, went and have a look to see why was she barking and 3 other dogs were there. They started to play. I found it cute when they were playing together.
I had a feeling that they would be friends. I cuddled the smallest dog out of 3 of them because it looked so cute and fluffy. Next I went and fed them with Dog Biscuits. It was starting to get dark. So I went and took the 3 dogs back to their home which was at the other side of the road. Lastly I went to kiss Stella to say good night before I went for a shower.
I really had a great day spending time with my Dog Stella.
I feel that she is my best friend and I can’t wait for the next holidays to come so that I can spend more time with her.

Family and Friends - God Had Created
Learn: I can find sign that helps me to know that God is present in my family and friends.
How does Families and Friends remind you of GOD?
To me everyone in this world are so lucky that we are blessed with families and friends. Having families and friends are special to me because they support me and help me whenever I am in need. When Families and Friends are around me, it reminds me of God because I feel that God is close to me and I feel I am blessed
Don’t you think he or she is beautiful?
YES, God is beautiful because we are all blessed with the many gifts he have given to us, and all his creations are all beautiful. He has blessed me with wonderful friends and families that are there to make me smile when I am sad.

Sean Shark Week
I think that Sean is a brave kid to be interest in Sharks when he was 3 years old. Now he’s 10 years old he wants to stop people cutting the Shark's fin. When he grows up he want’s to be Shark Biologist. Sean is a great kid to strive for his dreams and future. What he likes about Shark is that they are magnificent creatures. Sean explains what Shark finning is. Shark finning is when you cut the fin and throw the leftover body back to the sea so that it could sink toward the bottom where it is eaten by other fish. He was confident at speaking of what he was saying.

Hockey Session
On a Wednesday morning, we had our first kiwi sport for Term 3, Hockey. Room 7 was the first class to begin with the Hockey Session. We head into the hall because it was raining outside. The Instructor split us into 3 groups. First we started with warm ups before we began our lessons. Running to the end of the hall was the first warm up we did. Following on, we did monkey crawls. Afterwards we begin to start with the skills, first was the Marble. We started to do competitions as well, to see who would get the most score of doing the balancing the ball on the stick. One student got 101. From then we got into 2 groups because we were going to play a game of Hockey. He calls a number and that amount of people have to run and try get the ball into the goal net. At the end he calls everyone to come in, my group was trying to get the ball into the other goal net because we haven’t had a score yet. Our Session had ended, we all said “Thank you” to the instructor.

Rainbow Fish
I think that the Rainbow Fish did the right decision to share his scales
Reasons
* So he could have friends to play with
* Because he felt happier before he was.
* So that the Rainbow Fish won’t feel lonely
Therefore I think what Rainbow Fish have done was the right decision to share his scales with his friends instead of keeping it all to himself. Sharing his Scales away was a good idea because he think about others before himself.

A Visit To Taiwan
It
was a lovely day that we went to visit one of our classmate in Starship
Hospital. I and 4 other students went with our teacher.
When
school finished we had to do extra work while our teacher had a
meeting. Once she finished her meeting, we loaded in the car and off we
went. I was lucky to sit in the front seat while the other four
squashed at the back.
After
short while we arrived at the hospital. We rushed to the main build to
buy Taiwan a flower and an air balloon that says “Get well soon.”
It
took us a while to look for the ward where Taiwan is. . Mrs Tui (our
teacher) ask the reception for help. We realised we were in the wrong
ward and we have to go back to the lower floor. He was in 24, Room 9.
We were excited to see him.
Taiwan
was surprised that we came and visit him. We all started to talk to
him, asking how he feels. Chris said a prayer. We chat for a little
while. Mrs Tui was taking some pictures of us with Taiwan. Sadly we
had to goodbye as it was getting late.
On
our way Mrs Tui gave us a treat. She stopped at East Ridge shopping
centre and bought us drinks, chips and lollies. We were very thankful.
She dropped us home, first was Folauhola, then Chris and then myself. Misiotei was the last.
I enjoyed visiting our classmate and friend at hospital and hope he will get better soon.
My Holiday - Going To Hamilton
During my holidays I went to Hamilton with my family to support my brother who got picked to play for Blues under 18. They versed Chiefs under 18.
Waking up in the morning was freezing cold and I was glad that it is the holidays.
“Wake up Rachel” whispered my Dad. We are going to somewhere far. I was out off bed in a blink. We got ready and off we went to dropped my brother to Unitec to meet his teammates because they were going on a bus to Hamilton to where they were playing. My parents and I took the car. We drove for quite sometimes. I asked my parents if we’re nearly there.
“No”,they said, “Another half an hour, maybe.
I sat quietly at the back enjoying the drive and the view.
I noticed this long river.
“ What is this river mum,” I said curiously from the back.
“ It is Waikato River,” said mum.
I was surprise because it was my first time there. I watched the river as we kept driving on.
My Mum pointed out the Maori Cemetery on the top of a mountain across Waikato River where the Maori King and Queen got buried. I was amazed.
We finally got to the Hamilton but were lost. Dad wasn’t sure how to get to St Paul’s Collegiate. We had to stop and ask for help. Some kind person in the shop directed us the way. It’s always lovely to know there are kind and helpful people out there
We arrived at the place quite early. The game kicked off time was 12.30. A little while later, my brother and his team arrived. They went straight to the changing room to get change to have warm up before they play.
While we were waiting my mum decided to go buy something to eat before the game start as we haven’t had breakfast.
Soon the game began. We watched with excitement. It was a tough game for both team. There were many supporters for both team. My brother played really well. His team won. I did not take note of the final score. I was proud of him and his team. I know mum and dad were very happy too.
We had head off to Auckland after the game. On the way I had nap. I was so tired as we woke up early. I woke up and we were close to Pukekohe.
Once when we got home I had good shower before dinner. I really enjoyed my day at Hamilton. It was a great family day out.

Mystery Voice at River Jordan, is it a sign?
I am here reporting at river Jordan about the witness of some amazing facts. Jesus was baptised from his cousin John the baptist, son of Elizabeth and Zechariah. At that moment the sky was opened, and at the same time the crowd heard a voice saying “This is my son, whom I love, with him I am pleased”. The crowd who was there were shocked and surprised, They wondered what was going on.
First Swimming Lesson~
* Wow it was our first swimming lesson for this Term and for the Year, 2 years ago we had the swimming pool and now we have it again.
* Our swimming lesson started at 12:00 - 12:30. When we got there, there were classes there. We waited for them to finish. There were 3 instructors which was Pam, but Emma and Joseph were inside the pool. We were split into 2 groups, one group was confident swimmers and the other was for the others who ain’t sure if they could swim. I was in Joseph’s group. My group started with floating on our backs and then from there we did other things like the dolphin crawl. The dolphin crawl was awesome because it looked like we were mermaids swimming.
* We had 3 minutes left until we get out of the pool so that the next class comes in. Straight from there we got changed back into our uniforms. We had so much fun swimming in the pool. Can’t wait for the next swimming lesson.

Holy Spirit ~
This is my brainstorm of what I know about the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit came at Pentecost Day:
What Happen: The holy spirit came into the disciples including Mary and the holy spirit gave them confidence and they started to speak tongues and they had little flames on their head. The disciples started to preaching to everybody but in a different language.
