Fraction Practices Number 1

Example : ⅔ of 18 = 12
      3 x ? = 18 3 x 6 = 18
       ? x 2 = ? 6 x 2 = 12

1. ¼ of 36 = 9 Y      4 x 9 = 36  1 x 9= 9

2. ⅖ of 40 = 16 Y  5 x 8= 40  8 x 2 =16

3. ⅗ of 20 =  12 Y    5 x 4 = 20 4 x 3 = 12

4. ¾ of 24 =  18 Y   4 x 6 = 24  6 x 3 18

5. ⅔ of 24 =   16 Y  3 x 8 = 24  8 x 2 = 16

6. ⅘ of 60 =   48 Y 5 x 12 = 60  4 x 12 = 48
